A new alliance aims to help the film and TV industry make a transition to more sustainable production.
Sustainable Film and TV Production is a Danish alliance initiated by Vision Denmark, which works to support the industry towards a gradual shift to more sustainable production in Denmark. We gather and share knowledge and experience from home and abroad, and are working together to create strong supply networks while working politically to support sustainable development.
We have set about developing several essential tools to be used to measure the true climate footprint of the industry and identify the important areas of focus.
The partners in the alliance are the Producers’ Association, The Danish Film Institute, DR, TV2, the Danish Actors’ Union, Danish Film Directors, the Danish Playwrights’ Association and the Copenhagen Film Workshop.
